This is Garrett, the smartest, most creative and astounding young being on the planet.  He's seven years old and absorbing information at an amazing rate.  We now have first grade homework every night.  Lucky us to get to relearn everything all over again.   Garrett has his own dog, Dozer, who sleeps with him every night (along with Rabbit) and he helps me "train" the other dogs.  His favorite things are still cars, trucks, cars, trucks, and playing "construction site" with his trucks in the dirt outside; but only if his dog, Dozer, can help him.  Chris and I enjoy him immensely and are kept humble by his view of the world.  Life with Garrett is never dull.  He is truly a little gem in our house.

We went camping for three days at Fools Hollow Lake new Show Low.  This was our view from the trailer.  We all had a good time and did not want to come home!

Payson, AZ, has a great playground for the kids near the ballfields.  Garrett showed us all the sights.

This summer Garrett enjoyed the kids crafts at Lowes.

After "crashing" on Planet Zak (below), the kids had to build shelters and learn to find food.  (right) They cleaned up Sludge City and got it running green.

Garrett built a Transformer Robot to help people and save the planet.

This summer Garrett attended Camp Invention.  Below, he built a bumper cars ride for the local amusement park.  Everything used in this camp was formerly something else.
